Naturen i Fokus - Fotoutställning i Älmhult

Utställningen pågår 11 april - 5 maj i kulturhuset Blohmé, byggnaden bredvid biblioteket i Älmhult.
Vernissage är den 11 april kl. 15-17.

Om författaren

Thorsten Klint är zoolog, fotograf och främst naturälskare. Han är författare till ett flertal vetenskapliga artiklar i välrenommerade tidskrifter. Under senare tid har han börjat kombinera sina intressen för natur och fotografering med ett populärvetenskapligt författarskap.

Han har arbetat i Danmark, USA och Belgien men är nu tillbaka i Sverige där han arbetar med att utveckla sin fotografi.
”Min första förebild var Christer Strömholm, men på senare tid har jag främst inspirerats av fotografer som Terje Hellesö samt Anders Geidemark och av ett antal impressionistiska konstnärer”.

Utställning reflekterar ett urval av impressionistiskt inspirerade landskapsbilder samt en samling mer experimentella naturstudier.
